Activities of local self-governing bodies
Starting from 2002 HCA – Vanadzor has been implemented a number of projects directed to the establishment of public supervision over the activities of the local self-governmental bodies through creation of mechanism, particularly monitoring the city council meetings and its decision, public attitude towards the work done by the local self-governmental bodies and etc.
Through conduction of monitoring over the activities of the local self-governmental bodies the organization aims disclosure of legislative gaps and contradiction in this field as well as study the real situation in that regard.

It is interesting that the criminal case on the citizen of the RA being subjected to degrading treatment by the police officers of Artsakh was initiated at the RA Prosecutor General’s Office. However, the RA Ministry of Justice refused to provide psychological support to the same citizen and referred her to the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh.
On May 11, 2018, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Syunik Region of the RA continued the stage of the examination of evidence related to the case of inciting serviceman Gevorg Khachatryan to commit suicide.
