Today, on May 22, 2018, the aggrieved party and the prosecuting attorney in the case of two-year-and-three-month-old Lia Misakyan, who died at Arabkir Medical Center in January 2013, delivered their closing arguments at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan.

Expert: The conscript who passed away in April 2016 was not in a psychological state that could lead to suicide
Hovh. Petrosyan, who passed away on April 25, 2016 in one of the military units in Ijevan, “did not have psychological characteristics that could essentially affect him to commit the alleged suicide,” concluded the expert who conducted the forensic psychological examination.

In case there are factual data on the case of the deceased of the Convict Hospital, legal assessment will be given to the actions of the PI official
On January 16, 2018 a criminal case was initiated on Mher Kherunts’ death case at the Convict Hospital that occurred on January 3, 2018.
Within the framework of the criminal case, assessment will also be given to the conduct of First Deputy Head of the PI Arman Ayvazyan if “factual data are obtained in regard to him committing the alleged crime.”
The Military Commissar of Artashat and the Head of the Conscription Commission are aslo to be interrogated about the case of deceased serviceman Suren Mosinyan
Upon ending the interrogation of the witnesses summoned in connection with the case, the prosecutor filed a motion to also interrogate the Military Commissar of the Artashat Military Commissariat and the Head of the Conscription Commission. The court upheld the motion.

Under the ruling issued by the General Jurisdiction Court of Armavir Province, RA on December 14, 2017, A. Petrosyan, the doctor charged with the death of a four-year-old child Karine Hovhannisyan, who died at Armavir Medical Center in 2015, is to compensate the aggrieved party for material damages in the amount of 890,000 AMD.
A report to be presented pertaining to the crime of the prosecutor imposing pressure on those questioned with regard to inciting a soldier’s suicide
On December 22, 2017 at the General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik Province in the RA, the examination of the evidence continued in regard to the case of inciting soldier Gevorg Khachatryan’s suicide, and defendant H. Muradyan was questioned.
On November 24, 2017 defendants H. Muradyan and M. Voskanyan did not show up at the General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik Province for the hearing on the case of inciting soldier Gevorg Khachatran’s suicide.
Neurologist: “S. Mosinyan’s heart rate of 110 could serve as evidence for cardiovascular system problems.”
On November 21, 2017, the interrogation of the witnesses in the case of soldier S. Mosinyan’s death caused by the professional negligence of the Drafting Commission cardiologist resumed at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayots Dzor Provinces.
