A Man slashed his Veins in the Prosecutor’s Office
Yesterday, the human rights activist and Chairman of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor, Artur Sakunts, informed Zhoghovurd that HCAV received an alert that a citizen was invited to the Lori Region Prosecutor’s Office where he harmed himself.

 On March 21st 2002 the first issue of the newspaper "Civil Initiative" was printed. It was initiated withe aim of filling in the gap in the information field of human rights sphere in Vanadzor. It was at that time that it occured to me to have an artist for the newspaper, who could express the essence of the situation and problems through caricatures enabling the reader to get the full picture.
