Yesterday, on June 6, 2019, the publication made by HCA Vanadzor about the examination of E. Tsatinyan’s death case caused misunderstanding.  

We clarify that as we mentioned in the previous publications regarding the examination of the case, violence was applied to Edgar Tsatinyan in Nor Nork division of the RA Police. The criminal case initiated against the police officers is now examined in the RA Special Investigation Service.

The part of the publication on being tortured in the investigation division is a technical mistake and has already been corrected. HCA Vanadzor had no intention to disseminate fake information and the incident was a mistake. Accept our apologies for causing misunderstanding.

Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that E. Tsatinyan was apprehended to the RA Police Nor Nork division as instructed by the RA Investigative Committee Avan and Nor Nork investigative division and as E. Tsatinyan’s family members claim, the policemen’s actions had the intention to make him give false testimony within the framework of the criminal case examined in the RA Investigative Committee Avan and Nor Nork investigative division.

The condition of being apprehended within the framework of the criminal case examined in the RA Investigative Committee Avan and Nor Nork investigative division is also stated in the note given in response to HCA Vanadzor lawyer Arayik Zalyan. The note is attached.
