The aim of the project:
1.promotion of safety of people in incarceration and their access to healthcare and means of protection by enhancing civil society monitoring in prisons during COVID-19 along the standards on prevention and control of the virus.
2. to bring up the epidemiological situation in closed institutions in terms of the system’s response in pandemic-related emergency situations. The survey will design a model for the epidemiological response in new situations for penitentiary institutions and come up with recommendations in policy and practical level as to what steps epidemiological response should contain in closed institutions in Armenia based on the local situation and international experience.
