Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor

Today, on July 5th, the discussion on “The advantages of Armenia-EU cooperation and the importance of expanding these relations” took place in Vanadzor.  

HCAV chairman, Artur Sakunts, presented the current state of ongoing democratic reforms and the support provided by the European Union. 

Stepan Grigoryan, head of the Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation, made an opening speech at the meeting. Areg Kochinyan, the president of the “Research Center on Security policy”, presented the geopolitical situation of Armenia in the context of EU-Armenia relations, possible developments and perspectives.The discussion ended with a constructive question and answer.
