Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor

On October 24, 2024, Helsinki Citizens' Assembly-Vanadzor and the Union of Informed Citizens held a meeting with representatives of Georgia’s Central Election Commission within the framework of "Independent Observer". 

From HCA Vanadzor, the program manager, Vardine Grigoryan, and Anton Ivchenko, the coordinator of the Department of Democracy Monitoring and Reporting attended the meeting. 

During the meeting, representatives of the observation mission received information about the ongoing election processes from Giorgi Sharabidze, Giorgi Santuriani, the head of the Legal Department of CEC, the Head of the Strategic Planning and Accounting Department and Sofia Sichinava, the head of the Ethnic Minorities Group of Georgia's Central Election Commission. 

As we informed, the "Independent Observer" will carry out an observation mission in the parliamentary elections of Georgia to be held on October 26.
