“Independent Observer” found inaccuracies in the published data

Today, on 22 June 2021, “Independent Observer” public alliance member Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor applied to Central Electoral Commission’s Head Tigran Mukuchyan to correct inaccuracies in the published data and if necessary, to recount votes on their own initiative.

 

The Independent Observer Alliance reviewed the initial results of voting published on the official website of the RA CEC and noticed that in a number of polling stations, the number of voting participants differed greatly from the total number of valid and invalid ballots: the general difference recorded in 14 polling stations was 2760. Based on protocol excerpts in our possession, we found out that the data entered was incorrect and there was a certain pattern, as inaccuracies mainly concerned  “Armenia” bloc and “Civil Contract” Party votes.
