HCA-Vanadzor to effectively organize and implement the protection of human rights, sends information inquiries to different state structures, to territorial administration and local self-government bodies. 

 

The letters received in response to the information inquiries provide an opportunity to assess the implementation of the legally established norms for the provision of information by state bodies and local self-government bodies, from the perspective of the requirements of the Law “On Freedom of Information”. 

 

The Organization presents, in its regular STUDY, the state of the implementation of the RA Law "On Freedom of Information" by state and local self-government bodies in 2024, according to the responses received by HCA Vanadzor. 

 

In 2024, HCAV sent 293 information inquiries to state structures, territorial administration and local self-government bodies, of which 203 (69.3%) were received on time, 61 (20.82%) were received late, and 29 (9.9%) inquiries were not answered.
