On 1 June 2022, HCA Vanadzor made a crime report to the RA Prosecutor General based on the following publications: “Վայրենաբարո ձևերով հարձակվեցին, գցեցին գետնին երկիր․ Yerkir.am-ի խմբագիր”, Կարմիր բերետավորը բիրտ ուժ է կիրառում պատգամավոր Արամ Վարդևանյանի նկատմամբ՝ սեղմելով պարանոցը (ֆոտո), Ոստիկանները հարվածել են պատգամավոր Գեղամ Մանուկյանին, Ոստիկանները բռնի գործողություններ են կիրառում քաղաքացիների նկատմամբ, “Ձեռս”, “Արա-ն դու՛ ես է”․ The publications show how police officers use force while apprehending protesters.
Since May 2, HCAV has made a number of crime reports regarding the use of violence against protesters and journalists. Based on one of those reports, on 16 May 2022, the RA Anti-Corruption Committee initiated a criminal case, and certain facts presented in other reports were attached to the criminal cases already being investigated.
