The Police summed up the document phase of the competition held to involve non-governmental organizations in the composition of the Coordination Council of Police Reforms. As a result, applications filed by the following persons were considered in line with the requirements: Karen Zadoyan, Chairman of Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO; Daniel Ioannisian, Chairman and Program Director of “Union of Informed Citizens” consulting non-governmental organization; Artur Sakunts, Chairman of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor; Sergey Ghahramanyan, co-founder and Program Coordinator of “Driver’s Friend” human rights organization.
According to Appendix No. 3 point 18 approved by RA Prime Minister’s decision 903-A made on 6 August 2020, taking into account that representatives of 4 non-governmental organizations filed applications in line with the established requirements to get involved in the Council Coordinating Police Reforms, the competition was limited to the documentary stage. Representatives of the mentioned non-governmental organizations will get involved in the Council Coordinating Police Reforms.
