Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor

On August 26, the regular meeting of the public council attached to the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs took place. During the meeting, the budget proposal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for 2025 was discussed. 

Marieta Temuryan, the coordinator of the organization's monitoring social and medical services, participated in the meeting from HCAV. The latter has presented the observations of the Organization on the field of ensuring equal opportunities and expressed concerns, particularly on the distribution of the 2025 budget and how it aligns with the deinstitutionalization policy and whether the expenditures on the renovation of the institutions and community-based services are balanced and are in accordance with the philosophy of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
