Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor

On September 19, the RA Criminal Court of Appeals sent HCA Vanadzor lawyer Arayik Zalyan a notification of a court session which was to take place on September 18. Furthermore, the envelope was delivered to HCA Vanadzor by postal system on September 22, 4 days after the court session.

Last year, HCA Vanadzor’s EVS volunteers Eva Yaskova and Pia Winter initiated ‘A little peace, please’ photo petition dedicated to the International Day of Peace.

The Court reported that after the resumption of the case, the RA Police Information Center presented an information paper stating that defendants L. Vardanyan and Z. Ayvazyan had not been previously judged. The information paper contained information on the criminal record of this case under Article 130 § 2 of the RA Criminal Code.
